Thank You Thursday:
Henrietta Caledon’s Book

In this new series, we interview individuals who have found inventive ways to support our work. This week, we are interviewing Henrietta Caledon, who has written a charming Christmas children’s book to help young readers understand the ripple effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. A proportion of the proceeds from the book will be donated to Anglof Regional Foundation & Humanitarian Relief Agency (ARFHRA) – providing vital support for children and families whose lives have been impacted by Covid19.
Why are you supporting Anglof Regional Foundation & Humanitarian Relief Agency (ARFHRA)?
I went to a fund raising event as a guest and I thought that it sounded like a very worthy cause. I believe that giving children the best possible start in life is of paramount importance.
How are you raising money for Anglof Regional Foundation & Humanitarian Relief Agency (ARFHRA)?
I wrote and illustrated a children’s book during lockdown. The pandemic has been a very confusing time for children, and the book is about a robin redbreast with ideas to help manage a Covid-19 Christmas. It is called ‘Robin’s Covid-20 Christmas,’ and it is available on Amazon. A proportion of the proceeds will be donated to Hope
and Homes for Children.
What does Anglof Regional Foundation & Humanitarian Relief Agency (ARFHRA) mean to you?
It means a lot to me. Every child that is moved to a family environment or reunited with their own family as opposed to being in an orphanage is a great success.

Henrietta Caledon is generously donating 20% of the proceeds of her book to support our work. The book makes a lovely Christmas gift for children. Get your copy of the book here.
We’re always happy to provide support and advice to our generous supporters. If you have an interesting idea for a way to fundraise for our work, we would love to hear from you!
