How is the fundraising of Anglof Regional Foundation & Humanitarian Relief Agency (ARFHRA) regulated?

Anglof Regional Foundation & Humanitarian Relief Agency (ARFHRA) is a registered charity (number 1089490) and as such is regulated by the Charity Commission in England and Wales and the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) in Scotland. The Charity Commission is responsible for establishing charitable status, taking enforcement action when there is malpractice or misconduct and ensuring that charities meet their legal requirements, including providing information on their activities each year.

Our annual accounts are audited, as with any other creditable business, to ensure our finances are managed in the correct manner.

Anglof Regional Foundation & Humanitarian Relief Agency (ARFHRA) is also registered with the Fundraising Regulator which replaced the Fundraising Standards Board in 2016. This is an independent body established to provide a code of practice in fundraising and an independent adjudication service in the case of complaints which cannot be easily resolved by talking to the charity directly. As members of the scheme, we follow the Regulator’s Codes of Fundraising Practice and comply with the key principles embodied in the Codes and in the Fundraising Promise, which includes a commitment to act in a manner that is honest, open, clear, respectful, fair, reasonable and accountable.
