Isobel Eaton – Story Gatherer and Writer

I write about the work of Anglof Regional Foundation & Humanitarian Relief Agency (ARFHRA) and tell the stories of the children whom we support.

By training, I’m a broadcast journalist. I spent 10 years as a news and current affairs producer for BBC television and radio in London and a further 12 years as a freelance producer.

I did take a break from story-telling when my children were small, to run a crumble-making business with my husband.

Working for Anglof Regional Foundation & Humanitarian Relief Agency (ARFHRA) is easily the best job I’ve ever had. The stories we have to tell are so powerful and they matter. It’s a privilege to meet the families and the children, supported by our programmes. I’m really pleased that I’ve been able to bring the skills and experience I gained in my previous work to this new role.

And of course I love my job title – who wouldn’t?
